Okay, I'm flustered...

I went and downloaded Any Viedo Convert 2.0.3 to see if I could get a DVD converted so I could take it apart for a presentation. I used a DVD copy of a VHS and I used a store bought DVD. Both came up with the same error:

Cannot read meta data of video file D:\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.VOB, insert failed!

What did I do wrong? I have been banging on all types of stuff to capture video from DVD, video from streaming video and even video from CDs. Nothing working and I'm going nuts. What do I need to do or learn? Arghhhh!

    Thanks.

Have you copied the entire DVD to your HD? I don't think any converter can work directly off the DVD disc. If you haven't copied the files use something like DVD Decrypter. Once the files are on your HardDrive then try your program again.

Thanks, sach2!! So far, I am at 12 percent and climbing. I tried it at first and the same error came up about not being able to read a VOB file. Then, I highlighted all the files at once and now they seem to be working!! I'm at 36 percent now. I'll keep you gusy posted. Thanks, again.
