Son got our old HP a384x out and trying to get it up and running. Worked fine when we broke it down for storage. Now it will not power up. No lights on keyboard. Green light on back of unit it flashing. removed memory stick and replaced same stick. Screen said Power Saver mode and yellow light on monitor.
    Thanks, Roy

Try a different power supply and replace the CMOS battery. If it has been unplugged in storage for a long time, it used up whatever juice remained in the button battery just trying to maintain the CMOS settings.
The screen probably can not get enough power to light up because the power supply is weak/marginal.
