    I just picked up a 'new to me' Compaq Presario 1247 (AMD K6-2 400mhz, 128, 4.3gig, etc)

My problem is, that my Wifi card in it is making interference with the speakers and/or sound board. while transmitting or receiving any data thru the air, you hear something identical to the sound you get when you have your cell phone too close to a TV or set of amplified speakers.

Does anyone know of a quick and dirty cure for this problem, like wrapping the wifi card up in tin foil or something? Its driving me crazy! Even disabling the sound card in the bios makes no difference, it still picks it up. Someone please try and help! lol:D
