Congrats Jaz. Building your own IS fun. :) Your motherboard looks familiar; same one I'm using. Not the latest generation, but it's a good board. Do you have any pics of the finished product? Here's mine.

I used ASUS' "My Logo" program to replace the startup ASUS splash screen with this, just to personalize it a bit. :D

Nice mod-styled case. :) Mine's fairly plain on the outside, but I'm an old fart. Plain suits me. ;)

LOL. I'm probably not the best one to advise on overclocking. Last thing I bothered to overclock was a Cyrix CPU in the 486 era. Rule of thumb on overclocking is take it in very SMALL steps, testing at each step, particularly testing stability and temps under FULL load, and be prepared to invest in better cooling. Overclocking frequently requires higher voltages and more heat, and heat is your biggest enemy.

Use a good load testing app to run your processor at 100% load, and watch the system temperatures during test. I use http://www.majorgeeks.com/CPU_Stability_Test_d215.html
which maxes out the system, plus records any processing errors, which gives you a good heads-up on stability, and use ASUS PC Probe to monitor temperatures during testing. Not a bad thing to do even with a stock system to see just how hot things CAN get under load.

Honestly, other than benchmark scores, and a FEW frames/second improvement in games, I've never found a noticeable improvement from CPU overclocking. At least, not enough to warrant all the time and effort involved.

I have noticed that the highest my CPU gets is 37'C, Cooling is not an option, I am just curious how to overclock correctly(asus ai doesnt cut it)

LOL. It's not a big deal. And if it's from TigerDirect, it may be private labeled for them, and not show the actual manufacturer. Don't sweat it. :)
