omb sound card

ok i have ECS KT600 mobo and the sound is not working i downloaded all the drivers i have all the volume maxed on everything speakers are i have used them on my old computer the sound is onboard its realtek AC'97 AL655 6 channel im only uising two speakers there are no conflicts in deive manager and it reconizes when i plug the speakers in but no sound will play nothing even the windows sounds u cant hear!!!! U have to help me some one me told a jumper setting is wrong can this be true???????????????? im am so frustrated

 

Which color port do you have it plugged into?

 

i have tried line in line out and mic all 3

 

Is this a new motherboard? If it is used was it working before?
Have you checked your manual for any jumper settings that
need to be done for the sound to work?
It might be a faulty board, if you have updated all drivers, have
plugged in correctly, etc...

 

yea its a new motherboard no the manual doesn state nethin about it however on
the auxin1 and audio1 there are jumpers could need to be switched?
like there are no messages sayin bad drivers or ne thin and it reconizes the speakers when they are plugged in but no sound
