Omega Drivers for GF FX5600 256mb

Hi there. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to tweaking and O/Cing. My card is getting a little old now and i figured it was time to overclock a bit. I have Coolbits, but i've heard the Omega drivers are really good for tweaking as well. Any suggestions or opinions?

I get a slight speed boost with the omega drivers....I get flashing colored pixels when my mem is to hi and random black triangles when the core is to hi ( that is if it don't crash first )...........

What card is it?

yes get the coolbits reg hack and adjust the Core and Memory clock settings up in small increments, say 5mhz at a time, click "test new settings" to see if you get an early lockup, if ok run something like 3Dmark a few times to see if you get any pixeliation or a lockup, if not then up them a bit more and test again.. dont click Apply new settings at startup UNLESS you are happy there are no problems running at those settings.

Some things to look out for if the O/C has gone too far....

White spots in games.. looks like snow
Mouse cursor leaves trails or distorts
Any anomalies is GFX images or 3d effects
complete crash in screen

Note tho GFX cards do tend to get hot if O/Cing so go too much you may blow/burnout something.
