Omfg Haxorsz! Help!

I just bought an nvidi fx5500 and I put it in my pci slot, and its running and everything but when I go to plug in the monitor the screen wont show! someone help plz!

the fx5500 has two things to connect to, they are both like VGA slots for connecting you monitor but one is darker blue than the other........what do I do?!?!?!

and before I had integrated if that means anything


I also installed it on windows, so windows knows its there, and I updated the drivers

 

did you uninstall your previous drivers and disable the onboard vide? if not then thats your problem

 

When I go to device manager and then display adapeters both things (integrated and fx5500) are there, and enabled, the problem is, I dont want to disable the integrated and then try to plug in the fx and have it be black, then I would be screwed...........should I disable the integrated or what?

As Viper_boy403 stated, disable the onboard (integrated) video and uninstall it's drivers!!

 

Most likely your card has a Digital Interface, and a Analog Interface, thus the two different colors. Check your manual for the card to find out which is which, and connect your monitor to the correct interface.
