Omfg!!!

As if it weren't bad enough that the inlaws are coming over this afternoon/evening, I have been fighting with my puter for the last 24 hours+ and then I couldn't get into MG........

OK.. I made it by changing the addy to hit the forums, so that wasn't so bad.

Fighting with the puter cause I rearranged my entire office yesterday and re-did my setup so that it is easier to use and makes better use of the space I have.. When I got everything hooked back up again, i had to reinstall my vid cards for some reason *shrug* all I did to the box was add a case fan. Anyways, after d/l'ing half a dozen different drivers, restarting, rebooting, rolling back, system restoring etc, I finally got it working (hadda find the old detonator 3 drivers to get it to work finally)

I am running a Riva TNT2 M64 inthe AGP (Came with the machine) and a GeForce2 MX 200 in PCI (<-- that was the pain in the arse one). THank gods it is runnign again and i have both monitors fully functional. I get claustrophibic with only 1 monitor

Yea same here neither FF/Explorer/Opera will open the main Major Geeks page have to sneak in the back door. This is my error message Error: Can't open a connection to the MySQL database server

Don't know if that is what your getting Calltaker

 

Yeah the main site seems to be down. I think we can assume that they know about it, and are working to fix it.

I've emailed Tim myself and will email Jim incase Tim is AFK and they don't know about it so theres no need for everyone else to flood them with emails.

Regularly. I have FireFox set to clear cache on every shutdown of the browser. Can make life simpler, especially with a broadband connectiont that doesn't stumble reloading images etc.

Yep, that's a reall butt of a problem.
