Hey kids

So about 3? weeks ago, my comp died for no good reason. Wouldn't turn on, laughed at me. So i left it be because i was insanely busy.

Doing what? I moved. Out of the city main, into a nice quiet section out the door from my daughter school a duck pond and her best friend and an icecream parlor. 2 story townhouse with a useable basement. it rocks.

So, today the cable guy was coming, so I figured I'd set it up so he could at least hook it in, and on a whim hit the power button. Started up like nothing was ever wrong. Freaking thing is possessed.

In the meantime Kay graduated Pre-K. I'll scan some pics and post if anyone is interrested. She'll be 5 this summer. Her ears cleared up entirely, and if her little baby only child attitude can follow suit, i'll be set.

My car? Evil. F-ing POS took $3000 work and still needs more. Guess who 'bought' an inspection and said f-this? Nothing major, just annoying when you went broke on it on the money you saved to move and live after. Thanks to it i have -$50. No, I don't want help, it just annoys me. I had to whine.

Other than that, life is looking good. mostly moved in, set up etc. minus some junk from the old place and having to clean it up and turn in my keys. Anyone wants to know anything else, leave it here. Just thought I'd check in. Later kids.

 

great to see you are back to spamming the boards again Wenchie been some time hope everything starts going well for you and glad to hear your little kid is doing so well and i think its been longer thin 3weeks more like 2 months lol

Reminds me of a time when my TV was acting up. Came home one night and the picture kept switching between red, green, and blue. The volume was low and could not be adjusted. Now, being in the electronic repair field, I was stumped. I turned it off, went to bed. Next day, it worked fine and never had the problem again. That was several years ago and we've bought a bigger one since. I think we gave it to my parents and it's still working.
Bottom line: weird things happen.

yeah it's crazy, I'll get to the pics when im unlazy and hook up my scanner. I havent because i have a sneaking suspicion it may be what caused the problem to begin with.

But life is... alive. It's going to lick 100* for the next few days so last night when it was already cold i turned the AC's on high and there they will be staying. But i don't live 19 floors up in the sun. major improvement.

 

yeah, it's nice to walk a grand total of 3 minutes and be sitting on my best friend's doorstep. I really could use the peace. It's nice, and my computer undied so I feel connected again.

Well, I have to sit outside in 97* weather with outrageously high humidity to attend a BIRTHDAY party for people all shorter than my waist, which ought to be a blast...

but after that you wont be able to get me out of my AC with a crowbar, so I guess I can sit down and go at it.

Most of them understandably didnt show up. poor arianna. but my kiddo and her family spent all day in a 2ft inflatable pool making the grown ups nuts, so it all worked out.

 

Nice to know it worked out....poor kid though if not many came.

A 2 ft inflatable pool sounds bloody marvellous it's about 100 degrees here, and without an AC it's not livable. Some place with icebergs sounds very inviting.
