on/off button wiring? pc wont turn on..video inside

    I'd hope someone here is handy with computers, this is a help forum.:-D
    Who made the motherboard? Go to their website and look for the manual, there you will find a section on 'headers' and it will tell you. Some Mobos have the connection stenciled on the board, look for some pins, maybe 8-12 sticking up with other wires already attached, like you reset button and see if it is marked there for you. Looks like they're right there in the video, hard to tell for sure. (see picture attached)

    Agreed. You need to RTFM.

    Sadly, the ATX Form Factor standard does not dictate how those case front panel cables, or the associated motherboard connections, are labeled. So, for example, you may see PWR_SW, PWR_ON, PWR+, P+ or something else all for the same connection. But by comparing the cables with the motherboard manual, you can sort it out.

    Fortunately, you cannot break the computer if you have the case's front panel cables connected to the wrong pins - the computer just will not boot.
