onboard ethernet died.

    I went to go online the other night and could'nt. It seemed to be searching for a connection. I had recently done a fresh install of pro so tried it again. Still same thing. Drivers were installed and was enabled in bios. I had a extra nic card so stuck it in and worked. Should have done this before installing windows again. How common is the onbaord dying? I hav'nt ever had any problems in the past until now. Just curious.
