once again the G-card is going nuts

Hi everyone,
got back from my vacation today, was in egypt diving for 2 weeks, and turned on my pc. but everytime it crashed shortly after going into win(xp). in some cases i get the BSOD and it tells me the nv4_disp.dll (or similar) is the problem and in some cases the screen just freezes and sometimes it just went black.... so i go into safemode, which works fine, and used DCleaner, reboot, reinstall drivers and get the same problems everytime... the week before i went away i was starting to have problems with my graphics card (leadtek 6800GT) with it rebooting after couple of hours of playing (mainly WoW, goot hocked on it ) but just thought that it was heat related because it was very hot at that time.. but at least the pc worked otherwise and didnt crash immeadiatly after logging in. then the pc wasnt used for 2 weeks and now i have this problem and am pretty pissed off cause not just my pc is messed up but also about 80 of my fish are dead cause the neighbour couldnt feed them correctly. anyways, i would appreciate some help on this... cheers

 

Have you tried a different graphics card?

 

try a system restore to just before you went on holiday,then a fresh install of the vid card drivers

ok.. strangely enough when i reseated the card it started to work again like it used to.. only question is for how long
