One computer cannot detect wireless networks

hey guys, I been trying to fix this problem for two days with no avail.

I can't seem to see any available networks. It was working fine, I left for about 2 hours and upon returning found that none of our computer had a connection. Reseting the router quickly solved that problem for the other computers but my main computer still cannot see wireless networks.

So heres what I tried:

• Updating drivers. nothing.
• creating an adhoc network to make sure my computer is faulty. It was.
• unplugging-replugging, disabling-enabling adapter.
• reseting. several times.
• disabling-enabling WLAN autoconfig service.
• verify to make sure IPV4 and IPV6 are assigned automatically

So I still havn't found anything that could be the cause of the problem the only thing I did on the computer before it stop detecting wireless networks was disabling the wlan autoconfig(did this through command line using netsh) as it was causing lag spikes in online games.

os: windows 7 professional 64-bit

Try resetting winsock and then reboot.
