I'm ashamed to say that a little over a year ago I had to move to the dark side for work, I got a MAC!?

Anyway the experience has not been all bad. Once I got it running the way I wanted it has been very reliable. However, recently I had an internal RAID0 fail. Probably the biggest difference between Macs and PC's are the users, most Mac people can't spell RAID0, the Genius Bar is a joke [if you don't own a Mac and don't know what the Genius Bar is, sorry].

Sorry, I digress. I can hear the controller on one of the drives "clicking." I have not been able to find any software on the Mac that will recover data from a RAID. I was thinking I could install the drives in an external enclosure ant try recovering the data while attaching it to a PC. Oddly enough I have done this before for a friend. Neither the PC or the data recovery software cared that it was an HFS file system, but I can't remember the name of that software.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might do to try and fix this? I did contact a data recovery company but they wanted to extort $6,000 from me. Any help would be greatly and humbly appreciated. :-o
