One post wonders

Yes at times 1 post members who post links to various sites are just that spamming these, in many cases they are not even real people but software programs that spam multiple forums at once.

Some tricks by some spammers are to post some innocent hello's or replies to some threads to get around security blocks and then hit with their spam thread/post, so also look out for those.

PLEASE PLEASE do not respond to what you may think is a spam thread/post even as much as I know you want to give them a funny reply, but doing so all that is doing is giving the spammer what they want, views and advertisement of their link. Do as Kestrel mentions use the report a post button and one of the admin team or a few of the adim team will review them and as we can spot these sneeky posts, we will act and remove them.

We do keep this form very clean and the majority of the spam that we get hit with you never see, but the ones you do see, we need your assistance in reporting to us as we cannot be everywhere, so this is a team effort and many thanks to the ones who do report suspicious threads/posts as it helps a great deal, so cheers.
