online backup

hello, i'mn a new one to this forum.
and i have some kind of a problem. i have 30 computers and is there any way to make backups over network? any advice appreciated.

 

Well, backup software is your friend.

But what are you going to execute exactly? Do you want to back up all your comps to any one comp and further restore these images from this one comp to all other comps in case of crash?

What Oses are your comps running?

If I've understood correctly, I'd recommend Acronis Workstation backup software. It is able managing group tasks through the network and restoring to a different hardware. Not sure about features of Symantec alternatives.
By the way, if one of your comps is a server and is running a server OS, you will need server enterprise solutions.

i've just checked it. so i think that it is what i want, but i may be missed something. so i need to install True image enterprise server to my server machine, true image workstation to the workstation machines, and that's all? have any one worked with this programs, and i'd like to hear you reference.

 

Yep, it's enough. The key is True Image remote agent that has to be installed on every computer. It's a part of enterprise server and workstation True Image versions. So, if all of them are installed it's all you need to perform backup tasks of all machines from the server by not moving from the chair
