I recently made a purchase on a sneaker site and had my order cancelled with no explanation. Still won't respond to my emails about it. And just yesterday i went to make another purchase on another site. They emailed me back saying my order has come up as suspected fraud in the system. Thinking this may have to do with the other purchase as well. Anyone have any idea what this may be about. i used my regular credit card for both purchases.

Contact your bank, they may have flagged your card.

Were the name and shipping address you gave the company exactly the same as the information your credit card company has on file?

I've run into this when trying to order stuff for IT projects and having it shipped to the job site (not my billing address). I called my card issuer. They had to add the shipping address to their "approved" database and told me that, after 90 days, I had to call them again and repeat the process.

Names are important, too. I've heard of cases where people list their first name on the order as "Bob" and the bank sends up a fraud alert because the first name on the card is "Robert."

It's also possible that you are ordering from an IP address (through a proxy server?) that has been flagged.
