Online videos play fast with no sound.

    Hello, On my parents laptop, online videos (such as videos from youtube.com) play without sound and about 1.5x faster than normal, any ideas why?

    It's a Acer inspire 5601,

    I think you may need to install correct audio drivers from the manufacturer. Windows generic drivers may mess things up.

    It's not the drivers I've logged on to a different user account and the vids work fine, it's just on one user account.
