I want to allow only one of three users into another computer's My Documents over the network, but am not sure how to set it up right. How can share the folder with only the one computer?

All use Windows XP. No server, just to peer to peer networking.

    Thanks!

Assuming you have a simple "workgroup" network, and have the "My Documents" folder shared with default settings, its default security setting setsup "everone" to be able to access the folder.
You need to change that to "certain user" and delete "Everyone" from the security section.
You can get to this by right clicking the shared folder, and click on the property.
click on Security tab and you'll see the groups or users that has permission to the folder.

Did you try the answer of setting up a username and password on the second computer matching the person you want to give access to as was posted in the first thread you started ?

I've got it--thanks! I did both of these suggestions and it is working just fine. Thanks to both of you!
