    Theres a program Called G-Spot
It will tell you what codec the file is, then you should be able to determine what you need to download to watch the files from there.
you can get it from http://www.divx.com
    under software/misc
You might need to download some other codec other then what you already have so give that a try.
    :)

    Try this link
    http://www.mpegx.com/view.php?detail=2001

not sure if that is a codec or a player
But if you type this "ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder"
into google. Theres plenty of information about the codec.
Have a look you might be able to find the one for the player your after
    :)

If not i will see if i can find anything
