Open Office draw files

    I have several Open Office Draw files that for some reason (unknown to me) are trying to open as Open Office Text documents instead. I cannot figure out how to get them to use the correct program to open them. I have tried the 'Open With' option, but I don't see Open Office draw as a choice. I am lost....any help would be appreciated.

    have you tried to open the draw program first, then click file, open from within the program? or drag/drop the file onto the draw program.

    Also, with Open With click Browse and then locate the main exe to Open Offices Draw app (will be in Program Files folder) and hopefully that should restore the file association.

    I tried both options and could not get it to work. I think I am just not "computer literate" as perhaps I need to be. Luckily the files that won't open correctly are not important files and can be easily recreated.
