Open Office Oxygen 3.0

Hi guys

Has anyone been able to successfully download and install OxygenOffice Professional 3.0.0.11

I have tried from all mirrors, even from the Authors site. Tried from forefox 3.0.5, IE7. Even tried from a different PC. When I try to install I get a "installer integrity check has failed" and the install process exits.

I am thinking the file is corrupt where ever I get it from. I just need to confirm if anyone alse has the same issue and whether anyone been able to successfully download and install this

 

The only download for OpenOfficeOxygen I see on SourceForge is for Linux. When I go to download from MG's it is an exe file. I was considering it for the Linux box but have the new version installed, don't use office much, and have Microsoft Office on XP.

I note that it doesn't list Vista as being supported. Are you by any chance running Vista?

 

Definitely Windows XP fully patched...... I have downloaded the Windows version not linux

 

I assume this is the version you are talking about, from Major Geeks. Is that correct?

As you are probably also aware, it is quoted as:

If you don't get an answer by tomorrow, I will attempt to download it as part of my offpeak monthly quota. Too late for today, unfortunately. Bloody daylight saving time. :cry

I have downloaded it just now from Major Geeks. Took about 10 minutes.
Tried to installed it and it crashed. See thumbnail.

So do not waste your time downloading this MG entry. :cry

The only way I could get OxygenOffice Professional 3.0.0.11 is to download the - Multi language Binary. This might not be an option for some as it comes in at 542168012 bytes

But at least I can confirm that it works
