Open Office Uninstall Problem

Can't uninstall OOo-dev 3.4. I get message saying "the feature is on a network resource that is unavaliable. The path OOo-dev 3.4 cannot be found". It tells me to find the installation package 'ooodev34msi' in a folder used to install OOo-dev 3.4. I don't find that.

Someone suggested trying to download the OOo-dev 3.4 again and then try to uninstall it. The download is not in my Download Folder and I have not found that version of download on the Open Office site. I searched in MG downloads also.

I tried using IObit Uninstall and get the same messages.

There is a update version of Open Office OO3.4.1. In the past when I installed a newer version it would uninstalled the older version but that did not happen. It just installed the new Open Office and left the old version.

Can someone tell me how to uninstall the dev 3.4 or how to find the missing installation package 'ooodev34msi' or a better idea of what I need to try?

Here's a link to Open Office 3.4.0 if you want to try the reinstall / uninstall dance again...

If that doesn't do the trick, give Revo Uninstaller a shot - I've found it to be pretty aggressive with removing stubborn programs.

 

Thanks Caliban I will give it a try. I assume it is the same as OO-dev 3.4.

 

The link Open Office 3.4.0 installed but left the old version OOo-del 3.4 so I installed Revo and uninstalled that version.
