Opening a port using a Belkin Wireless Router?

Hi
I have had trouble with CAll of Duty United Offensve and connecting to a server. I have Call of Duty original and that connects fine to severs, i have no firewall except windows which i have stopped running. I spoke to activision and they said to open the port on my Belkin router, but i don't know how to do that, i need to open port 28960 which is used for United Offensive. PLEASE HELP!!!

In addition to going to the other thread.... you can go here for a step by step walk though of how to open the ports on your router...you didnt give enough information on your belkin router or i would have gone deeper in the links...but go here http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm and select your router and it will give you a detailed description of how to do it....
