opening .cab files

    Im trying to open some cab files off of a disk so i can put them in a directory and it tells me they are corrupt or damaged.. the files are fine, but the .cab is located on an install disk... any help would be appreciated would save me day's in DL time.
    im running Vista 32 bit, and winrar or 7 zip is no help

    Universal Extractor 1.6 might work, a portable version is also available. WinZIP or Extract.exe may also. Was looking for a program to extract data from .exe files and found Universal Extractor.
