opening message

When I start up my computer, the first message I receive on my computer is: Program version is wrong. Please reinstall again."
How can I find out what program it is and stop the message from appearing.

Could you give more information like OS for example.
When did this start to happing?
Did you install or uninstall anything lately?

 

I have window xp home edition. I started having problems with my Nero 8 I have several posts since posts and responses regarding this. I was unable to get the clean tool to work. Right now, I cannot reinstall my nero 8 backup disc. Seems like everything went haywire on my computer.

It started while I was having problems opening clean tool and getting it to run. I had several days where it would not run even with clean tool downloaded from the other site that was suggested by the Nero tech.
