When I click on the bookmark emblem ( the little heart) the bookmarks bar tab opens up on the side. At the bottom it says (in blue) "show full bookmarks view". Screenshot 1) I f I click on that I can see all my bookmarks listed in their appropriate folders. (Screenshot 2) This is what I want to see. How can I make it go to here as soon as I click on the bookmark emblem? Bookmark manager seems to have no way to do this.

if you click the opera emblem, upper left corner, one of the options listed is bookmarks. clicking on that should give you all of your folders and bookmarks. i don't use opera for my general web browsing, so the only bookmarks i have are the ones opera supplied.
on my win7 computer, opera grouped all former menu items in this one location, clicking on the opera emblem in the upper left corner. i prefer a full menu bar, but i'm an ol' fart and i miss the old days.
hopefully this answered your question. good luck with it.
