Operating System Advice

    The information found in the search is too old. I currently have Win XP Pro SP3. I am a gamer and built a new system to play the latest first person shooter war games (COD 5 WAW, Far Cry2 so far) for the near future. My question is should I upgrade to Vista 64 in order to use Directx10? What are most of the gamers using for best results? Thanks

    Be aware Microsoft are supposed to be bringing out a new OS at the start of 2010, so the choice is yours.

    However I am holding out till then cos vista sucks.
