I apologize for intruding in this thread, but I am having a difficult time finding a reasonable way to post a new thread in regard to Operating System Not Found in a Toshiba Satellite 1715 XCDS, with WINDOWS Me. I tested the hard drive in a diffierent TOSHIBA computer and it works fine. I could load programs and delete files just as if it was new. A while back, trying to get rid of a virus, I happened to have log in the DIR and remember deleting a file by mistake in the DIR. Now, I only have four files and I believe they should be five. The Configuration Disk goes in Circles, I have default the BIOS and I believe I see the HARD DRIVE in the BIOS, but I can not tab to it and see if it can be disable or enable (Can this be possible?). Also, when I tap on to get a Prompt I get the letter Q: and I have to inout A to get to A: and see the DIR. I have tried to load the drivers but I guess I messup the Image file<>How do I<>If possible and if that might be the case, recover the image file. And, how do I obtain a WINDOWS Automated Recovery Floppy File? How do I use it and install the file? Thanks, and again, my apologies if I have intruded on you thread but could not find a way to post me own. I am not a computer sabby, but try my best,
You can e mail me at <snip> Thanks and Happy New Year.
