Opinion on Monitoring Software for Kids

Trying to find a good internet security program to limit my kids access to paticular internet sites. Any opinions in this area ? Needs to be as user friendly as possible as their mother will be setting it up and using it. Not a fan of Net nanny or Cyberpatrol.. Thanks in advance..

 

It shouldn't be your only tool, but I would suggest one of the ZoneAlarm versions with Parental Control.

I use ZA Security Suite, which has the above, plus AntiVirus and AntiSpyware all in the one unit which you can password protect, and it's very simple to set up.

Parental Control will block sites that you select like Gambling and Porn etc.

As I said, it shouldn't be your only tool for peace of mind.

 

What you could use is Windows own Content Advisor and look into how to set it up to block certain content.
