Opinions Of ECS 755-A2 3200 ?

I am looking to upgrade. I currently have an AMD 2400+ w/512 Ram. I am looking to buy an ECS 755-A2 with a 3200 CPU and 1 gig of ram. I know ECS does not make the fastest most feature rich boards, but they seem a great bargain for the performance.

Any opinions?

I dunno, it might work fine, but since it is the core of your entire pc I'd suggest getting a nice motherboard (I have an AOpen and i love the thing), also seeing the dirt cheap price of ram i'd go with an Athlon 64 3200+ and a gig of dual channel ram, check this out

The ECS boards are kinda like PC Chips and such, i'd avoid and go for a board with nice specs, its worth the extra couple bucks now than a lot of em later

But its just my personal opinion, keep your options open and look at customer reviews. I might be wrong but better safe than sorry! Good luck

 

Theyre crappy generic mobos, what can I say. Had 2 ECS mobos and both failed in less then a year, never looked to em for anything. You get what you pay for.
