Opinions on HP Mini Netbook?

Hi! Long time no see!

So, minor update, back to Windows XP on a desktop (happily) and I have a tablet with Android 2.0 which is great, but can't do YouTube.

So, this brings me to my question. I'm working at my college and the semester starts on the 14th. The tablet is great, but it won't let anything load with the free WiFi from the college.

Okay. Annoying, but no big when I'm at work.

However, I'm going to be having a lot of free time between classes and while I wait for Mom to get out of class after I get off work.

I was wondering what the opinions were on an HP Mini Netbook? I've read all the suggested topics, but they don't really answer my questions.

1. Is the HP Mini all it's cracked up to be? Meaning, I have relatively small hands, so typing isn't a problem; as long as it has a headphone jack, I'm a happy camper; if it has flash I'm happier than a German Shepherd with two food dishes and really, I just need to watch YouTube. It's my main source of entertainment. :-D

2. Are there any major common hardware issues that I need to know about? I have bad track record with laptops. The last one I had was 14.5" and lasted six months- four months longer than the previous ones before they needed replacement parts. And if there are, is there anyway to avoid them?

Well, I thought I had three questions, but I guess I covered most of my concerns in two.

I think being concise suits me.

Anyway, any answers would be most appreciated as I really, really want something portable that doesn't make me feel like I have gorilla hands trying to use it. And I have tried (so to speak) a 10" keyboard on a test one at Walmart and it worked well for me, so size really isn't a problem.

This is only my opinion, but the HP mini notebook seems easy and light on transportation. I so far haven't heard any negative remarks about it. Check it out at you local electronics store and see for yourself.Hope this helps.
