Opinions on Protowall

I have been using Protowall (with block list manager) for a while now, and I really liked it, except that it really slowed down the load times for some sites (including this one) and when i ran leaktest, it didn't block anything. I also noticed that it isn't on this site. I am now using Outpost (free version) and am wondering what you guys use, and your opinions on protowall, and if you know why it isn't mentioned here at all. All things Protowall come up with a 404 NOT FOUND so it is likely defunct.
