    Hi,

I just finished installing a 64GB SSD in my system as an additional drive. The main reason was to improve performance for an I/O-intensive app. I've got at least 40 GB still free. I'm not interested in moving the O/S to the drive and booting from it (way too much effort), but I would like to tweak whatever I can at the system level to leverage the SSD's performance.

Does anyone have suggestions of what I could consider moving/reconfiguring?

    Thanks,

    Jim D.

    Greetings, tasselhoff...

Sounds as if you're 'puter savvy, so I'm going to suggest visiting Black Viper's site - lots of service tips and tweaks...
