Hi! I am using Adaptive Huffman codes for my compression technique. However, when I compress an uncompressable file, I get results too bad to be true. I expect something like 102-105% but get 125%. Is this the nature of the technique? I am using the Vitter technique and my own ways to shorten NYTs. Is there anything else I can do to optimize the technique?
