Optimum Online

    Hey Guys!
    I have Optimum Online, and a Scientific Atlant WebSTAR Modem. My current computer is XP. I just got a laptop w\ Vista a couple of moths ago. I do not have a router, and I am going to connect the new laptop to my modem. Whenever I put the CD in the drive and start the installer, it says "NT service pack 6 is not installed. Install the service pack and try again". When I googled it, I found that I can only download NT sp6 for NT 4.0. I don't know what my modem username and password is so I can't set it up manually. Any ideas?

    yea but it needs 2 be set up as a broadband connection and idc the password optimum set 4 me... the disc will set that up... HELP!:cry
