Option buttons missing

Trying to launch a hp application recovery program that will let me reinstall one of the bundled apps that is not working. Unfortunately the opening screen is incomplete and I am unable to get past it to the next step because the option buttons are not there.

All other windows appear to be ok except for this one. I have tried changing resolution and display settings but nothing seems to help.

I have made a snapshot of the window. Saved it in jpg. Is there any way to make it display for you to wee what I am saying?

 

I've often had this problem too, and here's what you do --- you have to temporarily change your DPI setting:

Right click your Desktop, Personalize, and in the left-hand column select Adjust Font Size (DPI). In DPI Scaling select the Default. Then reboot. Now go through your application launch process again, and when you're finished, go back into DPI and reset the resolution. Reboot, and you're done.

 

Os is windows xp, the program I want to recover (reinstall) is the hp photosmart premier which was bundled with the machine.
