The ADI Soundmax Digital Audio driver pulled from the Dell Support site [the only one, since the beginning, c. 2003] defaults to switching "OFF" the internal speaker on the Optiplex GX270. I search for a way to turn it back on but the feature set is so limited it has not the options that later Soundmax devices do.... OR I need an updated driver. The speaker was "on" before I installed the driver, then switched off.

The sound through headset is just fine.

can anyone tell me how to turn on the internal speaker?
