Hi Guys,
Please help. I have a spare Lenovo y410 originally running vista.
I clean installed windows 7 ultimate. Ran successfully and updated to all the latest update level. Have not browsed internet at all, so I expect no viruses or malware. No anti-virus or firewall installed yet.
Last night I started up the laptop; no wireless connection present and could not detect wireless connections although there are 3 in the house.
Laptop suggested reset to earlier restore point which I did.
Not successful although on restarting I saw 2 updates applying to windows and installing.
Restarted and failed and then reset to earlier restore point.
Successful and in full operation except Internet explorer will not load and gives message: ordinal 306 could not be located
How can I restart internet explorer?

You may need the Windows installation DVD.

 

Ran SFC. Fixed problem.
