I've been doing an assignment for uni in Visual Studio (C++ with DirectX) and want to tidy up my files. In the project folder there are files, including *.vcproj, *.sln, *.dsw, *.ncb amongst others.

I've moved the .h and .cpp files into another folder and that wasnt a problem, but if i try and move the file types listed above then things go wrong in my program, and multiple files are created elsewhere.

How can I move these files safely so my assignment folder looks tidy and the program still runs perfectly?

    Many Thanks
