Hi i hope this is the right forum for my problem,

I got this very poor quality 30 dollar digital camera/webcam/memory stick and needless to say it did not work very well. Clicking on "my digital camera" never successfully accessed the cam. It stalls for over a minute, then i'd get a tasklist window saying its not responding then i click 'end task'. When i click 'end task' all the icons in the system tray disapear except a few and then the computer is unbeleivably slow. I have to reboot and defrag to get my pc back to normal performance every time this happened.

So I uninstalled the driver and the software (Arcsoft) but there's one thing left over: Under "my computer" where it has 'c' drive and 'a' floppy, there's still an icon that says "my digital camera". Clicking on the icon it behaves just as before even though all the software, drivers are removed. Majorly disrupting my pc.

How do i get rid of this "my digital camera icon"? what software/driver bits could be left over and how do i safeley remove them? ( I already tried reinstalling the driver software and uninstalling it).

    Thanks for your time ,Robert.
