I have a Micron Millennia MAX 500 that is giving me some real trouble. I upgraded the RAM to 512MB using a variation of chips I've gotten from other computers, the video card from a 16MB Diamond Ultra to a 64M ATI, and a brand new Windows XP installation. For some reason, the computer has been locking up while in the OS and begins a memory dump. I figured it was something wrong with the XP install, but then it started locking up while I was installing Knoppix on a separate drive. Is this even a software issue? This seems like an equal-opportunity error.
