Someone was able to run a program which normally operates on a computer and converted the program to operate on a Pocket PC, (for example: a program such as an Encyclopedia, which can research and has speech capability). would anyone be able to clue me in as to how this was done. confused

The application likely had a CE version. It was then transferred, via PC. You cant just convert it.

Thanks Adrynalyne, (e: OS to CE via Windows XP 'OS' to Windows 2003 'PC') I was wishing there was another alternative to converting programs, such as an encyclopedia, from my Home Computer to my PC (Pocket PC). ///not sure what type of programming PC's use(DOS?).

About the best you can do is convert word, and excel docs to formats that can be read there. PDFs might be convertible too.
