There are several free and paid for programs that can do this, either by directly cloning the existing drive to a new drive while both are connected, or by imaging the existing drive, storing the image file on an external, then replacing old drive with new and restoring the image to the new drive.

For free try Macrium Reflect. If you don't mind paying I always recommend Acronis True Image. Either can be used on a regular basis for creating disaster recovery backups, which not only protect you from hardware and software failures but also can completely reverse the effects of an infection by taking your system back in time.

I'm not au fait with that program, but as it's listed at MG I don't see you will come to much harm by trying it. Personally I find the image > restore route less stressful than cloning so why not give it a whirl? You can always wipe the new hard drive and try something else if it isn't successful.
