Ship Ahoy!!!

 

Those guys are officially stupid! How can you miss a brige? On the other hand how can you keep a brige closed and don't say the captain to halt? Has anyone told them about radios?
Edit: reviwed the video and noticed that the brige was up originally and was going down when the ship attempted to pass. Must be somekind of misunderstanding, lol.

That WAS stupid. I can't figure out how the captain (or pilot, if one was on board) got a license. I did find 2 pics...don't know how they will look here (no digatal cameras in '67) There was an old clipping (can't find it) from one of the local newspapers proudly displayed in officer's country. If I remember correctly, an Ensign was doing the driving (technical navy term), the anchor landed in a dumpster, and the local police thought about issuing a ticket.
