Outbind issue where links used to be?

Xp OS, IE7 & MS Outlook - Inbound HTML chart from a service supplier used to have links back to their system that worked, I believe untill IE7 upgrade. Now the HTML chart shows and outbind statement where the HTTPS link used to be, all HTTPS links are the same way on the page but HTTP links are ok. My first thought is something I have changed in outlook has caused this, but not able to find that any change works. Google produced several posts indicating possible code problem from the sender, bit I doubt that that is correct in this case. I have noticed that forwarding the mail to another computer then allows the links to work so I am back to thinking I have the problem with a security setting? Site is allowed in all firewalls, and trusted sites. Thought I would try this site recommended by a friend?
