outlet express 6

I'm having a problem with OE6.
I have no toolbar icons for Fonts, Size, Font colour, Background colour, I can't insert pictures or sound.
I did have all these before I downloaded Hotbar and then decided I did not want it and there my trouble started.
I went into "Remove Programs" and being a bit of a novice I think I removed more that I should have done, actually I know I did!!.

Can anyone help me get these bits back to my tool bar.

I tried downloading the latest version of "Internet Explorer", but no luck.

you can try the hotbar uninstaller

If that doesn't work, you can try reinstalling Outlook Express. Got to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and Select "Microsoft Internet Explorer". Click "Change/Remove". A dialog should appear. Choose "Repair".

 

typically includes the OE update with it.. which would overwrite any previous OE files..

 

IMX, Repair works differently. I've found a number of times that a direct reinstall didn't work but repair did. *shrugs*

He also might try installing Hotbar again and *then* running the de-installer you linked to. That might be the safest route.
