I'm helping someone using Outlook 2002. He's been using it successfully until today. When send/receiving is running it is stuck on 3% and then he gets an error 0X8004060C. I cleared out all of his temp files using the %temp%. I spoke with the ISP (Verizon) who confirmed that Outlook is configured correctly and thought it might be the Norton Internet Security. I uninstalled his Norton Internet Security. I ran Spybot SD which came up with 52 problems that were fixed. I ran Hijack and cleaned up a lot of crap. I then tried to delete his sent files folder which had over 400 sent emails. I got the error that said it could not delete them and to restart Outlook which I did but got the same error. I uninstalled Outlook and restarted the desktop and then reinstalled. I found that all of the messeges were still in there. I can not find the these files so I can delete them. Is there any suggestions in our community that I haven't tried? Your help on this is really appreciated.
