outlook 2003 custom view to all folders

in outlook 2003 i have changed the default view for my folders. the problem is that in my PST's some of the folders did not update to the new default and i am wondering why.

what i did.
1. went to start , run: outlook /cleanviews
2. view, arrange by, current view, define view and than changed the fields. to make this easy to see if it updates all folders i changed the fields to only FROM.
3. sure enough 98% of the folders INBOX and PST's.

like i said before, some of the folders in my PST's still have the old view.

Does anyone know why?
