Outlook 2003 Further Repair Needed

Outlook 2003 operated normally until recent automatic update (included junk mail filter update) seemed to cause my junk mail filter to cease working properly. I have extremely obvious junk arriving in my inbox daily. I could be wrong. What else might cause this problem?

I have done a detect and repair of my installation. I have used SCANPST to repair the inbox file. I had two versions of SCANPST and have run both on the inbox file. Problem with junk mail continues.

Does it make sense to uninstall the updates which happened on the date when I began having problems. I thought about doing this however was scared off when there was a warning that uninstalling the update could cause my entire MSOffice to quit working.

I have Office 2007, but Outlook 2003. Windows XP.
Appreciate help or advice.
